MPP Jordan Members’ Statement – Fire Protection Grant

This morning at Queen’s Park, MPP Jordan spoke about the Fire Protection Grant and how the provincial government announced in last month’s budget that it’s maintaining the $20 million enhanced funding for the Fire Protection Grant in 2026-27.

MPP Jordan had a chance to visit several of the fire departments in Lanark-Frontenac-Kingston that received this funding in late 2025 and see firsthand how this funding is going to ensure firefighters have access to the tools and equipment they need to stay safe in critical situations, when they are needed most.
