Ontario Welcomes Investment & Job Creation in the Life Sciences Sector

Yesterday, our government joined AstraZeneca to announce that the company is making a transformational investment to establish a flagship Global Clinical research centre at its growing Mississauga site. This investment will create 500 good-paying jobs.

Through our province’s life sciences strategy, Taking Life Sciences to the Next Level, Ontario is establishing itself as a global biomanufacturing and life sciences hub. In the last two years, Ontario has attracted nearly $3 billion in investments by global biomanufacturers.
